Twelve-Medal Collection Guide
The twelve zodiac medals are persistent collectibles that carry across saves and playthroughs. A complete set is checked immediately after PATH A: END; if all twelve have been recorded, the story continues into the Path P sequence.
Compendium dates are useful hints, but they do not follow one consistent rule. Depending on the medal, a date may refer to when the object first appears, when its identity is confirmed, or when the game formally records it.
This page reveals medal locations, several character-route scenes, and parts of the Path A and Path B endings.
Key rules
- All twelve zodiac medals are required for the Path P sequence.
- Medal progress is stored in persistent data and is not rolled back when you load an older save.
- Four character routes have exclusive medals:
- Dean Route: Pisces
- Roswell Route: Cancer
- Sal Route: Capricorn
- Hoss Route: Libra
- Orlando Route and Tyson Route have no exclusive collectible medal.
- Path A provides Aries, Scorpio, and Virgo, while Path B provides Gemini and Sagittarius.
- Aquarius, Taurus, and Leo can be unlocked on either the Path A or Path B side.
- You can collect all twelve medals without entering Path C–G.
A medal can appear in the story before the game records it as a persistent collectible.
For example:
- Aquarius is found on D4, but it is not formally recorded until the D16 A/B inventory scene.
- Taurus is found on D7 and likewise is not formally recorded until D16.
- Pisces, Cancer, and Capricorn are recorded on D9, even when their exact zodiac identities are confirmed later.
When story discovery and permanent unlock occur at different times, both are listed separately.

Recommended four-route plan
The four character-route medals belong to four mutually exclusive routes, so each one must be played from the D4 partner choice. Only two of those runs need to continue through a major ending.
Step 1: Save before the D4 route choice
Create a save before choosing a partner for the medal-search competition.
Loading this save later does not undo medals the game has already recorded. For safety, let each medal scene finish and make a normal save before returning to the D4 branch.
Step 2: Complete Path B on one collectible route
Choose Dean, Roswell, Sal, or Hoss and complete Path B.
That run provides six medals:
- Aquarius
- Taurus
- Leo
- Gemini
- Sagittarius
- the exclusive medal for the selected character route
Because these are non-Tyson routes, the D17 password must be handled correctly to avoid being diverted into Path F/G.
Step 3: Collect two more route medals
Return to the D4 save and collect two of the three remaining character-route medals.
- Dean Route: Pisces is recorded on D9.
- Roswell Route: Cancer is recorded on D9.
- Sal Route: Capricorn is recorded on D9.
- Hoss Route: Libra is recorded on D16 and requires the Path A or Path B side.
The Dean, Roswell, and Sal runs can end after the medal is recorded on D9. Hoss must be continued to D16.
Step 4: Finish Path A on the final collectible route
Use the one collectible route not yet completed and finish Path A.
This final run provides:
- the remaining character-route medal;
- Aries;
- Scorpio;
- Virgo.
The successful twelve-medal check occurs only after the Path A ending, so placing Path A last avoids having to complete it a second time.

Either pattern branches into four runs from the D4 character-route choice: one full Path B run, one full Path A run, and two short runs that reach the D9 route medals.

Detailed medal notes
The entries below follow the traditional zodiac order.
Aries — Path A
On D23, Dave finds the medal on the bedside table in Roswell’s room. The game records Aries immediately, and Oswin identifies it moments later.
The scene is automatic once reached.Taurus — Path A or B
The medal is first found on D7 after the giant pumpkin is removed from the greenhouse. Its identity is discussed at the time, but it is not formally recorded until the D16 A/B inventory scene.
Gemini — Path B
Gemini consists of two halves.
On the Tyson Route, Dave sees Tyson reveal the first half during the D4 hedge-maze sequence. On other routes, that scene is not shown. The complete medal is assembled automatically on D25 B and recorded regardless of the selected character route.
Tyson Route is useful for seeing the full discovery context, but it is not required for collection.Cancer — Roswell Route
On D9, a medal falls from a museum bookshelf while Dave and Roswell are examining books. Roswell identifies it as Cancer, and the game records it immediately.
Leo — Path A or B
On D22, Thanatos directs Dave to a hollowed-out copy of a children’s story. Leo is hidden inside with a Hammond family photograph.
The medal is identified and recorded immediately.Virgo — complete Path A
Florencia gives Virgo to Dave during every Path A relationship-ending branch. No particular boyfriend or character route is required.
All six relationship endings unlock the same Virgo medal, so any one of them is enough.Libra — Hoss Route, D16 A/B
Hoss finds Libra in the hidden library on D16.
Unlike the route medals for Dean, Roswell, and Sal, Libra is not available on D9. A Hoss run must reach D16 on Path A or B.Scorpio — Path A
On D24 A, Dave finds the medal inside Roswell’s letter after reading it. The game records it at once, although the scene itself does not immediately name the zodiac sign.
Its identity is confirmed later by the complete-set sequence or the Compendium.Sagittarius — complete Path B
Florencia gives Sagittarius to Dave during every Path B relationship-ending branch.
Some branches name it directly and others describe the arrow-shaped symbol, but all six Path B ending branches record Sagittarius.Capricorn — Sal Route
On D9, Dave and Sal find the medal inside an unusually secured pool locker. They cannot identify the symbol at the time, but the game records the medal immediately.
The zodiac name is confirmed during the D16 A/B inventory scene.Aquarius — Path A or B
Orlando finds Aquarius at the center of the hedge maze on D4. On the Orlando Route, its identity is also stated during that scene.
The medal is not formally recorded until the D16 A/B inventory scene, so the D4 discovery alone does not complete the unlock.Pisces — Dean Route
On D9, Dean retrieves the medal from the river while fishing with Dave. They do not correctly identify it at the time, but the game records the medal immediately.
Its identity is confirmed during the D16 inventory scene.Why twelve medals may not trigger Path P
Check the following:
- Did you complete Path A after all twelve medals had been formally recorded?
- Did you reach D16 A/B for Aquarius and Taurus rather than stopping after their earlier discovery scenes?
- If collecting Libra, did the Hoss Route reach D16 on the Path A or B?
- Did the Path B run reach D25, where Gemini is awarded?
- Did that run continue through the Path B ending, where Sagittarius is awarded?
- Does the Compendium still show an unidentified medal entry after restarting the game?
- Was persistent data cleared, replaced, or incompletely transferred between devices?
The twelve-medal check is not continuously active. If Path A was completed before the collection was complete, obtaining the remaining medals later does not automatically reopen the final sequence; Path A must be completed again.

Why can the Compendium date differ from the discovery date?
Compendium medal dates are clues; they do not consistently mark first discovery, name confirmation, or permanent unlock.
- Aquarius uses the D4 story-discovery date even though the game records it on D16.
- Taurus uses D16 even though the medal first appears on D7.
- Pisces and Capricorn use D9 even though their identities are confirmed on D16.
